2025 New Year’s wishes from the WGEPPP Presidency

Dear all,

I read an interesting article on the website of a provider of collaboration tools. Before listing the advantages of his tool, the provider states the following: ‘Global team collaboration works best after getting to know each other in person’. International team collaboration is based to a large extent on trust. The better you know your colleagues, their culture, their preferences, the more trust can develop. And this getting to know each other is ideally based on personal contacts.

I share this opinion. The joy of meeting familiar people at the annual physical WGEPPP meetings, welcoming new participants, deepening relationships and getting to know each other better is a real experience. And an energy that carries over, for example, into the online Flash format, where an active community has developed.

Let’s take the opportunities to strengthen personal contacts! The next one will be the WGEPPP Forum, which takes place every three years. In 2025, we will be happy to welcome you to Bern in Switzerland. I would be delighted to see many familiar and new faces and to enjoy a lively exchange. In this context, I would also like to thank our colleagues from SAI Romania once again for being the perfect hosts of our 2024 WGEPPP meeting.

WGEPPP is alive and well through the contacts of its participants, all of us. Let’s stay connected, healthy and brave!
